Asper the ditorial in the previous issue, the Drayton Manor School Magazine published in September 1967 was a review of the previous school year only (as opposed to containing original work as well, as in previous years). The extracts from Phoenix Review 66-67 included here represent the 1963 intake's involvement in school activities, whilst they were preparing for 'O'-levels. Notes on Staff Changes provide an update on the teachers at the school. An extract from the report on the Senior Speech Trophy Competition, Music Notes, and some Sports section reports summarise some of the formal activities. Meanwhile the extra-curricular activities are represented by reports from the Astronomy Club, Maths Club, Jazz Club (whatever happened to Rick Wakeman?), and the newly-formed Film Society (who could have predicted DVDs?).
