“We were very pleased last term to welcome on the Staff a new member, Mr. Cherry, who is in charge of the boy’s P.T. Mr. Cherry spends half his time at Kingsbury School. As the saying goes, “You can’t make two bites of a cherry”. We hope it will be possible some day for him to spend all his time with us”. (From “School Notes”).
“The programme of the History Society during the Spring Term was accomplished very successfully. It consisted of a debate and a trip to places of interest in London. On March 30th a Parliamentary Debate on part of the King’s Speech, concerning Rearmament and the League of Nations was held. After many interesting speeches had been made, a hurried vote was taken by all present. The majority were in favour of rearmament but seemed rather “hazy” on the
League!”
